Feminists for Life to meet in Waterloo

Kathy and Don Peters will host an organizational Feminists for Life meeting at 3 p.m. April 9 at their home, 17 Huff St., Waterloo.

Mary Dwelly, head of the Rochester chapter of Feminists for Life, will be the guest speaker and will talk about the organization’s background and current work.

Feminists for Life is looking for members who believe in the strength of women and the potential of every human life and who refuse to choose between women and children. Feminists for Life members also reject violence and exploitation and believe women should not be forced to choose between sacrificing their children and pursuing their education and career-related plans. The organization is non-sectarian and welcomes all people, regardless of religious beliefs, and does not endorse or support political candidates of any party.

For more information, contact Kathy Peters at 315/539-8006 or visit the Feminists for Life Web site at www.feministsforlife.org.
