Father Patrick J. Frawley has been appointed president and CEO of Fidelis Care, the state health plan founded by New York’s bishops. Father Frawley has served as interim president and CEO since the unexpected death of President and CEO Mark L. Lane in July.
Father Frawley joined Fidelis Care in 1996 as executive vice president and chief operating officer and worked with Lane to lead the plan’s statewide expansion from its initial service area of 14 ZIP codes in Brooklyn to 59 of the state’s 62 counties.
David P. Thomas has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer; he most recently was senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
Fidelis Care provides its members with health plans through the state programs Medicaid, Family Health Plus, Child Health Plus, Medicare Advantage and managed long-term-care programs.Tags: Diocesan Appointments
