Santacruzan, a Philippine procession and celebration that honors the Blessed Virgin Mary, took place May 6 at St. Patrick Church in Victor. The procession, which traditionally takes place on the streets of small villages, concluded with a flower offering to and crowning of a statue of Mary. Following the procession, a Mass was celebrated by Fathers Edison Tayag and Martin Truong, and a potluck reception and program took place in the church hall.
