It’s not often that I cover rock concerts for the Catholic Courier, so it was a nice change of pace to catch up with Camp Stella Maris band Popular Peninsula last Friday when they played for an audience of screaming teens at Irondequoit’s Christ the King Church. The great thing about this band is how high-energy, upbeat and positive their music is. Pat Roberts (pictured) personifies that energy. He was all over the stage and moving so quickly that it was hard for my slower shutter speed to freeze him, but I caught him in front of the fog machine a few times. The colors and light come together nicely in this one.
