A community food giveaway and services fair will take place Monday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Catholic Charities Samaritan Center, 324 W. Buffalo St., Ithaca. The event is on a rescheduled date; it had originally been set for April 29.
Information about food stamps and Child Health Plus/Family Health Plus enrollment will be available. In addition, representatives of local organizations will share information about their services and programs. Activities such as cooking demonstrations, children’s games and music are also planned.
