Four men were ordained as deacons during a May 25 ordination Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano ordained Deacons Roger DeBell, William Goodman and Jonathan Schott to the permanent diaconate, while Deacon Joseph Martuscello was ordained as a transitional deacon on the path to priesthood.
