Father Richard McAlear, OMI, will lead healing liturgies and a healing retreat at several Rochester-area parishes during December.
Father McAlear will offer healing liturgies on the following days:
* Monday, Dec. 5: 7 p.m., St. Mark Church, 54 Kuhn Road, Greece.
* Tuesday, Dec. 6: 7 p.m., St. Cecilia Church, 2732 Culver Road, Irondequoit.
* Thursday, Dec. 8: 5:30 p.m., St. John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport.
* Friday, Dec. 9: 7 p.m., Holy Spirit Church, 1335 Hatch Road, Webster.
He will also lead a healing retreat on “The Eucharist & Healing” on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Holy Spirit. Registration, which is $15, begins at 9:30 a.m. in the parish center. The event, which is being billed as a day of teaching and spiritual renewal, includes prayers and healing, a brown-bag lunch with desserts and beverages provided and a 5 p.m. celebration of the Eucharist, which concludes the retreat.
