All are invited to the 21st-annual Free Spaghetti Supper sponsored by Elmira’s Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Anthony, St. Patrick and Ss. Peter and Paul). It will take place Wednesday, May 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Ss. Peter and Paul church hall on Market Street across from St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The supper is open to all residents, regardless of religious affiliation or income level. According to organizer Elaine Chamberlin, more than 600 meals are expected to be served by the volunteer crew that handles set up, cooking, serving and clean up. Blessed Sacrament offers the supper at no cost thanks to donations by parishioners and local businesses.
