Hornell’s St. James Mercy Foundation raised more than $34,600 from its second annual Harvest Ball. The gala was held Oct. 2 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hornell, with proceeds benefitting the St. James Mercy Health System.
More than 150 guests took part in the event, which included a wine-tasting, dinner, dancing and a silent auction with prizes donated by area businesses and private individuals.
As a special surprise, a video was shown featuring area dignitaries including Hollywood star Bill Pullman, a Hornell native. Pullman spoke in the video of his ongoing support for the St. James Mercy Foundation and Health System.
