During the 10:30 a.m. Mass Sept. 10 at St. Helen Church, 310 Hinchey Road, Gates, parishioners will remember those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and honor those who serve the public and keep it safe.
The Mass will include a dedication of a memorial engraved with the words: “Remember 9/11 and those who serve us every day.”
Each year since Sept. 11, 2001, the parish community has come together to pray for the victims of the terror attacks and to thank members of local police and fire departments for their service.
