An informational meeting about the Catholic priesthood is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (following the 5 p.m. Mass) at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester.
The event is open to all single Catholic men, college-aged and beyond. It will serve to answer questions about the path to the priesthood, such as: What are the educational and age requirements for becoming a priest? How long does the process take? Who pays for education and formation? What personal qualities is the church looking for? Whom do I talk to if I want to know more?
This gathering is sponsored the diocesan Office of Vocation Awareness. Those interested in attending may RSVP to vocations@dor.org or by calling 585-461-2890.
