Geneseo parish marks St. Francis’ feastday with pet blessing
Parishioners of Livingston County’s St. Luke the Evangelist Parish were invited to St. Mary Church in Geneseo for an Oct. 2 pet blessing. Father Jeffrey Tunnicliff gave a blessing to dogs, cats, and a turtle to celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
