The Boys & Girls Clubs of Geneva is looking for adults who are willing to serve as mentors for children and teenagers.
Through the organization’s Friendship Club, adults serve as mentors for young people, many of whom come from single-parent families and may need an extra adult role model in their lives. Mentors are matched with children with similar interests and personalities.
Prospective mentors must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to one year with the program.
In previous years mentors have taken their mentees to parks, ice-skating rinks, libraries, school activities and sporting events.
