The Girls Cathedral Choir of Wurzburg, Germany, will give a free concert at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rochester, on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
Founded in 1971, the choir consists of more than 130 girls between the ages of 8 and 17. Approximately 33 girls will participate in the Rochester presentation, singing a varied program of religious, classical and modern music under the direction of their conductor, Martin Berger. The choir also will present a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20, in the Atrium at Rochester City Hall.
