To the editor:
Former Bishop Fulton Sheen once said that if the United States continued to kill life — 51 million since Roe v. Wade — at its beginnings with abortion, at its midday with the handicapped, and at twilight with euthanasia, it would lead to the catastrophes midnight of nuclear war.
Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta agreed saying "abortion leads to nuclear war". Remember that Our Lady of America warned, "Dear children unless the United States accepts and carries out faithfully the mandate given to it by heaven to lead the world to peace, there will come upon it and all nations a giant havoc of war and incredible suffering," and she warned that this may include nuclear warfare if we do not convert.
This crime of abortion cries for vengeance in the sight of God. A "Life at Conception" Act by Deacon Roger Wicker and Congressman Duncan D. Hunter is in the making. Since the difficult question of when life begins is now well known scientifically at conception, personhood is established at that point. The fetus’s right to life is then guaranteed specifically by the 14th Amendment that would overturn Roe v. Wade and abolish abortion altogether. It apprears today, to be well after 11 in the evening. But there is still hope and we know where and from whom our hope comes. It comes from us American citizens — promote this amendment- convert back to moral behavior, and vote for life from conception to natural death.
