The Diocese of Rochester’s Golf and Games golf tournament will take place June 24 at The Links at Greystone, located at 1400 Atlantic Ave. in Walworth.

Organized by the diocesan Department of Catholic Schools, the annual tournament raises funds for the Diocese of Rochester Catholic Schools Education Hardship Fund, which provides financial assistance to students at any of the diocese’s 18 Catholic schools. The fund ensures students’ Catholic education will continue despite unexpected financial hardships their families may experience, including serious illnesses, job losses or house fires.

The event includes 18 holes of golf as well as such competitive lawn games as Kan Jam, ladder golf, corn hole and bocce. On the day of the tournament, registration for golfers will open at 11 a.m., and registration for those participating in the games will open at 12:30 p.m. The golf tournament will begin at noon, and the lawn games will start at 1 p.m. A cocktail reception and awards dinner will begin at 4 p.m.

Families, individuals and companies are invited to participate in the golf tournament or lawn games or to attend the dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
