For the fourth straight year, Holy Family Catholic Community is staging a benefit golf tournament to help further the education of children in Kenya.
The Funds & Fun Tournament will take place Sunday, July 15, at Brae Burn Golf Course in Dansville. This nine-hole event will feature a shotgun start at 1 p.m., with dinner and prizes to follow. Men’s, women’s and mixed-team categories are available, with longest drive, closest to the pin and other contests offered as well.
Openings are available for golfers, sponsors, donors and those who prefer to attend dinner only. To participate, contact Holy Family Catholic Community at 585-728-2228.
Funds raised will support ongoing construction of St. Josephine Bakhita Secondary School in Gitare, Kenya. Father Stephen Karani, pastor of Holy Family, is a native of Kenya.
