To the editor:
In the February edition of the Catholic Courier Governor Cuomo in defense of his pro-abortion stance is quoted as saying a woman has a right to abortion, adding, "It is her body."
Haven’t we all heard that stretch for 40 years?
If that, in my opinion, is a basis for taking the life of a living being, then why shouldn’t a woman have the right to earn a living via prostituting her body? After all, as the governor puts it, "It is her body." Of course, she would have to register as a business coming under the jurisdiction of the health department and offices of state and federal tax filings. That should please the governor. In realty both scenarios are ridiculous.
Suggestion: The next time one is in a conversation with a pro-abortionist ask them if they are pleased their mother did not abort them, and if they are, tell us why.
