To the editor:
Bishop Clark deserves a loud “Amen” for his recent column in which he loudly decries Governor Spitzer’s proposed abortion bill. Bishop Clark deemed it “intolerable” and this is exactly the right word. As Catholics, we can not sit idly by while Governor Spitzer liberalizes the practice of abortion further.
I congratulate Bishop Clark on his clarity, accuracy and ability to summarize the bill for all to understand. Most of all I thank him for saying loud and clear to all Rochester Catholics, “Please join us as we vehemently oppose this proposal.”
