Greece council honors longtime Knight of Columbus

A longtime member of the Knights of Columbus was honored during the annual Columbus Day dinner of Council 3892, Our Lady of the Cenacle, on Oct. 10 at the Brook House in Greece.

Chet Palinski, who died two days earlier at age 97, was given special recognition at the event. He had been featured in the Feb. 17, 2021 edition of the Catholic Courier on the occasion of his 75th anniversary as a Knight.

Also during the Oct. 10 dinner, the Greece-based Council 3892 donated $1,000 to Margaret Home, a ministry in East Rochester that supports pregnant women.
