Grief program meets on Thursdays in Rush, is open to all

A weekly program has begun at St. Marianne Cope Parish to assist people who are grieving.

The support group conducted its first session July 15 and is meeting every Thursday through Oct. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m., at St. Joseph Church, 6105 Rush Lima Road, Rush.

This initiative is affiliated with GriefShare, a worldwide organization providing help and encouragement so that participants don’t have to grieve alone and can rebuild their lives after the death of a loved one. Gatherings at St. Joseph Church are open to both St. Marianne Cope parishioners and nonparishioners.
