Hope Dealers BTC is a nonprofit community cleanup and support organization that removes hazardous drug waste from Rochester neighborhoods. Group members meet each Sunday to collect used syringes and gather nearly 500 each week for an estimated 14,098 since the group’s inception in September 2017. The self-funded organization also provides meals and personal-care items to those affected by the opioid epidemic and have helped connect 36 people with drug-treatment programs.
