Groups are working together to meet needs

Several Catholic organizations have joined an effort called the Community University Partnership Project, which is being coordinated by Foodlink.

The project was started with a $500,000 grant and is intended to increase the capacity of faith-based and community organizations addressing human-service needs in the community.

Organizations that make up the partnership include Catholic Family Center, Faith Community Alliance, Project URGE and nine local universities. For details, call Sheila Williams, Foodlink FACT coordinator, at 585/328-3380, ext. 121.
