Guitar virtuoso to highlight housing gala

Guitar virtuoso and comedian Mike Rayburn will headline the Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation’s Building Hope Together Gala Celebration on April 21 at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford.

Bishop Sheen Housing is a nonprofit organizations that helps provide affordable housing for low-income families, seniors and people with disabilities in 13 counties. The gala, which also will include a live auction, will support the organization’s Emergency Home Repair Program.

Rayburn has been featured in Newsweek, USA Today, Billboard and on the national radio show “Bob and Tom.” He has received standing ovations at all eight of his Carnegie Hall performances and was nominated Solo Artist of the Year in 2006 and 2007 by American Entertainment Magazine.
