Williamsville radio station WLOF 101.7, The Station of the Cross, is hosting a conference on the Eucharist Friday, Sept. 9, and Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Agri-Center on the Fairgrounds, 5820 S. Park Ave., Hamburg, southwest of Buffalo.
The conference is titled “Our Devotion: The Year of the Eucharist.” Father John Corapi, a member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, will give five talks on the Eucharist. Father Corapi was a millionaire who lost his fortune, in part, by spending it on cocaine. He eventually gave his life to God and was ordained a priest in 1991. He is frequently featured on the Eternal Word Television Network.
Also at the conference, EWTN’s News Director Raymond Arroyo will introduce his biography about Mother Angelica, EWTN’s founder. Arroyo will be available to sign copies of his book, Mother Angelica: The Remarkable Story of a Nun, Her Nerve and A Network of Miracles.
The conference will run from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 9 and from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 10. To register, call 716/839-6117, or register online at www.holyfamily.ws. Questions may directed to Matthew Tremblay at firstname.lastname@example.org.
