The diocesan Hands of Christ awards will be presented this coming week in three separate ceremonies.
Hands of Christ annually recognizes several hundred outstanding high-school seniors who have consistently demonstrated their Christianity by word and example; have been actively involved in their parish, school and/or community; have acted as positive role models for their peers; and are practicing Roman Catholics at parishes in the Rochester Diocese.
Celebrations will take place Tuesday, Oct. 3, and Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. both nights at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester.
There also will be a ceremony Saturday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N. Geneva St., Ithaca.
