Saulo Hidalgo, an internationally known preacher and author who hails from the Dominican Republic, led a two-day spiritual retreat for Catholics Nov. 6-7 at the Diocese of Rochester’s Pastoral Center in Gates. During the retreat Hidalgo talked about how families can use kindness and caring to facilitate healing during hard times. The retreat ended with a healing Mass.
