High school students invited to diocesan summer retreat

The Diocese of Rochester’s Office of Evangelization and Catechesis is planning a one-day summer retreat for teens entering grades 9-12 this fall.

The “Tune In: Listening, Learning and Loving with Jesus and Mary” retreat for high school students will take place Thursday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Notre Dame Retreat House, 5151 Foster Road, Canandaigua.

The day will consist of prayer and reflections, small-group discussion and fun activities on the theme, which is based on the Four Ls of Life (listen, learn, love, live) frequently cited by Bishop John S. Bonnici.

The retreat will also include Mass celebrated by Bishop Bonnici and an informal Q&A discussion with him. Lunch will be provided for all participants.

Cost for the retreat is $40.
