Ruth Blodgett, a resident of Hilton and a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church in Greece, is releasing a fiction book, Refuge of the Heart, Sept. 25.
The book highlights the relationship between a district attorney and a troubled refugee woman. It is the first of three books that Blodgett — who writes under the name Ruth Logan Herne — is releasing under a contract with Franciscan Media in Ohio. She is among the initial authors for a first-ever fiction line by the Catholic publisher. Blodgett is a best-selling Christian author, with nearly 750,000 of her books in print.
