Holy Cross Gift Shop celebrated its grand opening Feb. 9 and 10 with a blessing and ribbon cutting after the noon Mass. The gift shop is at 78 Latta Road, between Lake Avenue and the Genesee River, next to Holy Cross School. Parking is available in front of the school.
The shop, located in a quaint house, offers religious gifts including apparel, gifts for baptism, first Communion and confirmation, favors and centerpieces for weddings, and gifts and decorations for such seasonal celebrations as Advent, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Lent and Easter. The shop also will carry nonreligious items, including gifts for teachers, children’s activities, soup mixes, books and jewelry.
The gift shop is wheelchair accessible and has a Web site at www.holycrossrochester.org. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays. Call 585-663-6190 for details.
