Holy Cross community garden will support food pantries

The outgoing fifth-grade class at Holy Cross School in Charlotte created a community garden. The garden’s produce will be used in the food pantries at Holy Cross Parish and school. Next year’s fifth-grade class will start caring for the garden in the fall, and the younger grades will use the garden to learn about God’s creation, according to the school principal.
