Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. in Charlotte, will host its annual festival on Aug. 3, 4 and 5. Grounds are open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. each day. The festival will feature rides, a casino tent, games and live music.
A chicken barbecue will be served every evening, and other foods featured include Italian sausage, steamed clams, salt potatoes and lemon ice. For information, call Tom Shay, festival chairman, at 585/455-1998.
