The first installment of “Faith and Foam,” an initiative of Holy Family Parish, will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at Miller House, 1905 Main St. in Perkinsville, Steuben County.
Deacon Tom Driscoll, pastoral associate at Holy Family, will lead the night’s “conversations about real life and spirituality.” Billed as an opportunity for spiritual growth, the event will take place on the second Wednesday of each month at the bar, where food and beverages will be available.
The first evening’s conversations may touch upon such questions as, “Does God really understand my life?” and “Why doesn’t God do something to stop suffering?” Anyone with questions about God or the Catholic Church is welcome, as are people who feel the church has let them down.
The next installments of “Faith and Foam” will be held Sept. 12, Oct. 10 and Nov. 14.
