Hope, pray for new president

We have a new President; whether your candidate or not, we have to hope and pray that our new President does a great job. Many people have said there was no perfect candidate but we had to choose the one that best fits our ethics and morals. Since Cain and Abel, killing has not solved problems, only created more; something that is still true today. We see this in all levels of life as some people accept euthanasia, physician assisted suicide, random acts of violence, genocide, wars and the killing of the most helpless, the abortion of babies in their mother’s womb.

Even though we have passed Christmas, the celebration of an infant’s birth over 2000 years ago, we need to think of Jesus’ message of peace and love. On Christmas Eve, Legends 102.7, played "Let There be Peace on Earth." We can pray that the new administration will appoint judges that will protect all lives, starting with the most innocent and helpless, those in the womb. By eliminating the culture of death that has killed millions of babies in the womb since 1973, perhaps this will help reduce the killings of humans of all ages.
