To the editor:
I hope many of you saw the ads on TV these past weeks presented by CatholicsComeHome.Org. I had seen several of their ads on EWTN the past couple of years and I had hoped, no prayed that they would be seen in every diocese in the U.S.
The Catholic faith may be the largest in the U.S., but lapsed Catholics are the second largest. That to me is tragic.
I hope that any former Catholic who saw these ads maybe started to think about "coming home". Maybe the seed was planted, and they may not come right away or in a couple of weeks or months even. Maybe the good word is working on many right now and they will come, all in his good time.
If you know someone who has left the church just let them know about CatholicsComeHome.org, and suggest that they check out their website, and keep them in your prayers. We may not know how many actually return until we meet them in heaven.
