St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira has several events planned in honor of National Hospital Week beginning May 8.
Sunday — Mother’s Day: Carnations are being placed on the breakfast tray of each female patient.
Monday — Silver Plus Reception: honoring hospital employees with 25 or more years of service; Cusick Meeting Room at the hospital; 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sponsored by St. Joseph’s department of marketing/community development.
Tuesday — Service Awards/Retirement Dinner: Holiday Inn Riverview, 6 p.m. Sponsored by the hospital’s department of human resources.
Wednesday — Sisters Day: All Sisters of St. Joseph working at the hospital will be given flowers.
