Registrations are being accepted for the Hospice Foundation of America’s 12th annual national bereavement teleconference via satellite. The program, to be moderated by broadcaster Cokie Roberts and featuring a panel of health-care experts, will be carried regionally at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 20.
This year’s conference will deal with medical, legal, social and cultural factors regarding end-of-life ethics and how they influence decisions in hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. Continuing-education credits are available for many professionals who attend.
