To the editor:
I have some questions that I struggle with on a daily basis. What has happened to our voice? My voice? How is being a follower of Christ different from being Patriotic, Democratic, Republican, American? If being a follower of Christ is different, then is it different than greed, violence and war?
I realized over this Easter season that I am a Catholic and a follower of Christ in word only. Like the people in Jesus’ time I have become complacent, comfortable and secure. I am lost. I am at a standstill. Yet from deep inside I continue to ask: How are we different? What is our example and answer to the world? If we do not have a different way, a different response, what then?
