To the editor:
Would you say yes to doing something if you know it would save a life?
Beginning February 22 to April 1, the Ithaca area’s sixth 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign starts. The campaign will feature prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a 40-day prayer vigil across the street outside the Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes region at 314 W. State Street.
The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end of abortion.
What have 40 Days for Life Campaign done across the world? 5,045 babies now alive that would have otherwise been aborted, 61 abortion workers have left their jobs and the abortion industry, and 6 abortion clinics have shut down completely. These are just what the numbers we know of!
