The annual "Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day" Irish Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 11 p.m. at the Hibernian Center grounds, 701 Kinyon St., on Elmira’s south side.
Food, musicians, step dancers, bagpipers and other Irish festivities will highlight the day. There is no admission fee. The event is sponsored by the John J. Lee Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
