Irish holiday concert to benefit Auburn school

Irish-American recording artist Andy Cooney will headline a holiday concert to benefit St. Joseph School in Auburn. The concert also will feature several other Irish talents, and will take place Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at East Middle School, 191 Franklin St. in Auburn.

Cooney has been described by The New York Times as "Irish America’s favorite son," and he will share the stage with Irish comedian George Casey, Irish soprano Emma Kate Tobia and the Darrah Carr Dance Troupe.

Tickets may be purchased for $25 by calling St. Joseph School at 315-253-8327 or Cheryl Foster at 315-253-3174.
