Irondequoit perpetual adoration chapel is in need of adorers

Rochester’s Peace of Christ Parish is looking for people to take part in perpetual adoration at its new Adoration Chapel at St. James, 123 Whittington Road, Irondequoit.

The chapel, located in the former St. James Convent, will open July 16. It is a short walk from the parking lot of Irondequoit’s St. James Church, which is one of Peace of Christ’s worship sites.

The parish is looking for adults 18 and older to commit to weekly time slots of at least one hour each. All time slots will have at least two adults scheduled, and a list of substitutes also is being compiled.

Click here to sign up as an adorer or substitute. For more information, contact the parish office at 585-288-5000, email or visit the parish’s website.
