A plea for personal-care items has been issued by the Catholic Charities Samaritan Center in Elmira.
These products are not available through food stamps. They include dish soap, face soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, toilet and facial tissue, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, men’s and women’s deodorant, shaving cream, razors, and women’s care items. There also is an ongoing need for diapers and baby items, as well as new or gently used towels, sheets, dishes, small appliances and household items.
