To the editor:
Terry Schiavo was a beautiful young girl and woman. She was a beloved daughter and a beloved wife. She was a beloved sister and friend.
Trying by all means to hang on to her seems so far away from what is “morally clear-cut and consistent with traditional Catholic moral principles.”
It makes the teachings of the Body of Christ detached, cold and analytical.
Jesus was a compassionate man.
