Junior High Youth Rally set for Livonia

The Diocese of Rochester’s annual Junior High Youth Rally will be held April 27 at Camp Stella Maris in Livonia.

The rally will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. and will include a liturgy with Bishop Matthew H. Clark, games, entertainment, prayer, dinner and snacks, music and karaoke, an inflatable obstacle course, and a “Holy Hullabaloo” series of fun activities. Participants will play a large group game with an emphasis on having fun, rather than competing with others, and they’ll also be able to use some elements of the “low ropes” course at Camp Stella Maris. Some entertainment will be provided by the young people on the Diocesan Youth Commission.

The rally is open to young people in grades six through eight. There is a $25 fee for each young person. For each group of six young people that registers, one adult may register for free.

The registration deadline is April 21. After that date, a late fee of $20 per youth will apply.

The rally is sponsored by the diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis. For more information, contact Mary Greenblatt at 585-328-3210, ext. 1279, or 1-800-388-7177, ext. 1279.
