Lenten mission to be held at Ithaca parish

Ithaca’s Immaculate Conception Parish will hold its Lenten mission March 6-9.

The mission will begin with a family Mass at 4 p.m. on March 6, with a reception to follow. On March 7, following the 12:10 p.m. Mass, Sister of Mercy Edna Slyck will speak on “Christ, as the Anointed One.” At 7 p.m. that day, Deacon Dan Hurley and Rich Rasmussen will speak on “Christ, as Shepherd.”

On March 8, Mass is at 9 a.m. followed by Greg Wesley’s presentation on “Christ, as Light.” Sister Slyck will lecture at 7 p.m. on “Christ, as Healer.”

The retreat will conclude on March 9 with reconciliation services after the 12:10 p.m. Mass and at 7 p.m.
