Let us pray for peace

To the editor:

The tragedy of the shooting on June 12 in Orlando is an awakening that what these evil terrorists are doing is pure evil. Since 9/11 our country has gone through some scary shootings; the world as well, especially Paris and Belgium.

We have no idea where or when the next attack will happen. Some of us may live in fear. The attacks still happen as does the crime of the innocent victims of abortion.

All that we have to do is look at a crucifix to see what God went through with His mother there at the foot of the cross. The history of Jesus’ life and birth from Mary the Blessed Mother proves that even God went through an awful evil attack. We even rejected God and killed Him.

There is no sin that our Redeemer can’t forgive for all humanity since Adam and Eve have sinned. In closing we should pray for peace and the families of the June 12 shooting. Praying for peace and someday the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart to triumph and, through their love of mankind all love like no other we await for peace and the second coming of Jesus.
