Rochester’s St. George Church, a Lithuanian parish, will celebrate its 100th anniversary Oct. 10-12.
The event will begin with an evening for renewing friendships Oct. 10. It will be followed by a reception and banquet at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center Oct. 11 and will conclude with a 10:30 a.m. Mass Oct. 12 at the church, 545 Hudson Ave.
The church’s highlights include a community choir called Putinas; the local Lithuanian radio show Dainos Aidas, and such groups as Scouts, folk dancing, theatrical ensembles and literary clubs.
