Local vigil honors victims of Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

An estimated 2,000 people took part in a vigil Oct. 28 at Temple B’rith Kodesh in Brighton to honor the individuals killed during a shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh Oct. 27. Leaders from Rochester’s interfaith community spoke during the vigil, which commemorated the 11 lives lost during the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue.
