The Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community is sponsoring a summer Bible-study series in conjunction with the Rushville United Methodist Church.
Sessions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday through June, July and August at the United Methodist Church on Route 245 in Rushville, instead of at St. Mary Parish in Rushville as originally announced.
The sessions will be based on “The Great Adventure: A Journey Through the Bible,” which is a DVD series by Jeff Cavins. According to a preliminary agenda, participants will discuss the book of Genesis during the June 22 and 29 sessions and the book of Exodus during the July 6 and 13 sessions. The book of Numbers also will be discussed during the July 13 session.
The sessions are free and open to adults.
